Buildathon runs under a single north star, AI for human flourishing, across three tracks. Every project should be able to answer one question: who does this measurably help, and how?
Help people understand, protect and improve their mental and emotional wellbeing before problems become crises: emotional awareness, burnout, access to care, early warning.
Move people from isolation or thin digital interaction toward meaningful, safe human connection: belonging, matching, community, and the reason to actually meet.
Expand access to education, skills and economic mobility: AI tutors, learning-gap detection, teacher copilots, career pathways, job matching, financial literacy.
Not a separate track, but a requirement for every project. Every team addresses safety, privacy, bias, accessibility, transparency and potential unintended harm.
Arrive with curiosity, a problem you care about, or nothing but the will to build. Teams form on-site, so you don't need one going in.
